Somatic Affective Talk & Touch for Dogs

I enjoy people and I love dogs. This motivated me to adjust the human modalities that I have learnt to working with dogs.
What does a PAWS Session Look Like?
You come to the office, or meet me at a quiet outdoor location, with your dog. Your dog has a mat to sit or lie down on. I do hands on work with your dog from tail-tip to nose and to all 4 paws. The type of talk and touch is gentle and supportive. Generally dogs show me where they want me to work and walk away when they are finished. Covid protocol is followed – please read prior to booking. Your dog does not need to wear a mask.
What Are the Benefits?
Your dog will move more ease-fully, be less anxious, have improved digestion and sleep deeply. The session releases deep holding patterns which allow the dog to move in a more natural and comfortable way. They are no longer accommodating fixed-in physical patterns or behaviours which may develop from injury, surgery or absorbed emotions. You learn where and how your dog could benefit from your touch, so that you can continue to support them at home.
Book a session by texting me: 604-720-0450. I work with aggressive dogs with a prior in-person session with the owner. These sessions are offered in the Kelowna area. If you live elsewhere… there are options!
- Check out the online tutorials and you can learn how to do some basic SATT 4 paws on your own. It’s good for you and your dog!
- Book a virtual session through FaceTime or Skype from the comfort of your own home.
